The Health Policymaking Discussion Paper
Nurse Practitioners are at the forefront of healthcare. They are well aware that today’s healthcare system requires change. The experiences of many nurses practicing in the real world of health care are motivating some to take on some form of an advocacy role to influence a change in policies, laws, or regulations that govern the more extensive health care system. In this discussion, the goal is to help you reflect on where you are in the continuum of health policymaking and to set the stage for upcoming tasks and projects in the course. Be bold, be honest, and have fun challenging yourself and others in this dialogue! The Health Policymaking Discussion Paper
