Malaria is a common infectious disease caused by the Plasmodium Parasite, and this disease are transmitted through the infected female mosquito. Due to this disease the immune system is weakened. if the pregnant women has suffered from malaria disease than the outcomes of the mothers is sever malaria, cerebral malaria and the childs adverse effect are still birth, anemia, child has also low birth weight, premature delivery.

In this tittle we have to Assessing the perception of malaria among pregnant women in Asanta community (a community in Ghana). malaria is endemic. Give the proper information to pregnant women that how she prevent from malaria during pregnancy. we have to give information that a mosquito net must be using during sleep time, don’t throw the waste near the house, don’t open the water which is supply for drinkng.

The main Aim of this research study is Assessing the perception of malaria among pregnant women in Asanta community (a community in Ghana).

OBJECTIVES:-

1. To assess the knowledge of pregnant women in Asanta community about malaria.

2. To assess the attitudes of pregnant women towards malaria prevention and management/ treatment.

3. To identify the practices of malaria women in prevention and management during pregnancy.

METHODS:-

Data collection is the gathering the information from the sampling unit. This study will use Cross Sectional Study. In this the investigator collect the data from pregnant women attending antenatal care in the health facilities in Asanta community .

The sample size will be determined by the formula for cross sectional study (60 samples) .

In this a structured questionnaire will be used to collect the data from the praticipants ( pregnant women). The questionnaire will be pretested in a similar population to get the ensure that the research is validity, reliability.

DATA ANALYSIS:-

All the data will be analysed and interpreted by using the statical software.

In this result we have to write all the data which is analysed through the statical software, and this study will provide insight into the perception of malaria among pregnant women in Asanta community. The result finding are decided that proper information which are provided regarding malaria among pregnant women in Asanta community, are affected or not, the findings will inform the design of appropriate intervention to prevent and manage  malaria among pregnant women in community.

This study aims to Assessing the perception of malaria among pregnant women in Asanta community (a community in Ghana). Research study is cross sectional study and perception of malaria among pregnant women is an essential factor in preventing and controlling malaria in the community. This research study are also provide the opportunity for the student nurse to gain knowledge regarding malaria.
