Dandruff ia a common condition that causes the skin on the scalp to flake.It isn’t contagious or serious. But it can bw embarrassing and difficult to treat.Mild dandruff can be treated with a gentle daily shampoo.

Question no 2 :

Medicines used for anti dandruff as antifungals including ketoconazole, zinc pyrithone and selenium disulfide. These are topical agents ( shampoo, ointment etc ) Hair oil can also used to reduce the Dandruff’s.
Sometimes home remedies are applicable like aloe vera, olive oil.
Regular washing of hair with medicated soap s it may relieve itching also.

Medicated shampoos are very useful in the case of dandruff treatment but some times it may cause itching of scalp to flakes out. So some interprofessional collaborations are useful and the are ;

  2. Advised to use hair oils and proper hair combing.
  3. Advised to don’t share personal things to any one and don’t use others too.
  4. Alovera gel can apply to the affected areas.
  5. A pharmacist know the different type’s of medicine and it would help the patient.
  6. A regular assessment of professionals can reduce the severity

Dandruff is a skin infection affect the scalp. It may irritate patient by itching. So it can be reduced by use of anti dandruff shampoos and soap. Ketoconazole is useful one. And interprofessional things are sometimes may be useful to the patient at constant observation. The questions asked to the patient regarding there personal, family, medical histories and usage of any over the counter drugs.
